vincent's pas de deux

one-two-three
one-two three

dance with me, waltz with me
into warm, sun-kissed day
our footsteps, soft swaying
give birth, honey-sweet hay

one-two-three
one-two three

promenade, to the skies
under fair, starry night
swirling globes, arabesque
heaven's hope, taking flight

one-two-three
one-two three

rise and fall, to terrace
embraced by softest light
pas de deux, comes to end
quiet dance, has given sight

Inspired by Magpie Tales 72.

A fitting tribute to Vincent. The accompanying paintings are the icings on the cake.

What a lovely song!

I have the last picture hanging in my living room.

Three of my favourites. We think alike...or rather the master's works are unforgettable and inspire all of us relentlessly...

A lovely way of tackling the topic - expands and deepens.

What a cool idea---three pieces, three paintings (two bonus ones--ha!) and the thread of dance keeping them intertwined.

Encore!

I love this great idea and each painting is a story, a moment in time beautifully captured
